Idea 2: Hyde Park Source, Library of tools
fundraising and awareness raising project for Hyde Park tool library
Deliverables:
- Poster campaign
- Badges, stickers
Idea 3: Borroclub
Raise awareness of the website, making it a household name and service. Think of it like a YCN or D&AD brief bringing it into the forefront of people's minds.
Things to consider:
- Funding for lending library
- only a concept
- pros and cons for each idea
- what could you do to raise awareness?
- promo video
- stickers
- slogans
- convincing posters
- Think of it like a live brief YCN project.
- What questions could I ask hyde park source?
After the group crit I have decided to follow up idea 1 as it has the most potential for a range of deliverables, exploring product, range and distribution.
To continue to project I must now start considering the problem in a commercial sense, who it's aimed at, where it will be distributed what will be an appropriate response. Is my design functional and useful? What is the problem and what are you trying to solve.
Write a brief of what you're doing? What is the issue you're approaching - what is the purpose of responding to this problem using graphic design?
Looking for:
- Tone of voice
- Who's it targeting
- Forms of distribution
- Design boards should reflect that
- Specific issue and specific brief
